MTAO: Mathematics – Advanced Operations with Whole Numbers

This course covers presentations on the Montessori materials for subtraction and division. Materials for operations and memorization are demonstrated. 

Summary

This course also introduces Decurion multiplication and division, which involves presentations using two-digit multipliers and divisors. Video lectures on the philosophy and scope and sequence of the Montessori mathematics curriculum are repeated.  Students will be provided an accompanying lesson plan for each lesson presented and perform practical application assignments in a Montessori learning environment or school.
