How to apply for Continuing Education
Professional Development
We encourage administrators, educators, and parents to learn more about Montessori education, which is why we offer portions of our program as professional development.
If you have access to a working Montessori environment, you will be able to take our online curriculum courses without applying for the MACTE certification track. All online courses require that you can demonstrate practice with Montessori materials with age-appropriate students. If you do not have access to or are not able to create an adequate Montessori environment to facilitate materials and classroom-management practice such as a dedicated area or room in your house, we suggest enrollment into the following courses instead:
- Foundations of Montessori Philosophy (FDN)
- Observation and Classroom Management (OBS)
- Survey of Montessori Curriculum (SMCU)
CONTINUING EDUCATION
Most online curriculum modules can be taken for professional development. The early childhood residency may be taken for professional development depending on previous experience.
